Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has left for Minsk on a visit at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov on October 8.

Within the framework of the official visit, it is planned to held a meeting with the military-political leadership and heads of other state structures of Belarus, as well as to visit the defense industry enterprises.

During the meetings, prospects for development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the military, military-technical spheres and in the field of military education, as well as security issues and other issues of mutual interest will be discussed.
