An official visit of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to Belarus began on October 8.

Within the framework of the official visit to Belarus, which is held at the invitation of the Defense Minister of this country, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov, Colonel General Z. Hasanov will hold meetings with the military-political leadership and heads of other state structures of Belarus. The minister will also visit defense industry enterprises.

During the meetings, prospects for development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the military, military-technical spheres and in the field of military education, as well as security issues and other issues of mutual interest will be discussed.
