Axar.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as reported in advance, the weather was unstable in the country from October 16 daytime till 17 morning, lightning, intermittent rain, also, torrential rain observed on some places. Snow fell on high mountainous areas. North-western wind blew, occasionally intensified in some regions, Absheron peninsula and Absheron sea region.

Amount of precipitation made 6-15 mm in Baku and Absheron peninsula, 9-14 in Lankaran-Astara zone, 1-13 in the Greater Caucasus, 1-8 in Central Lowland regions, 5-6 in the Lesser Caucasus, 0-4 in Gazakh-Ganja region, 0-6 mm in Nakhchivan AR.

Snow depth was 9 cm in Griz, 4 cm in Khinalig and Shahdagh.
