Why the Queen only carries money with her on Sundays?

Whether the Queen carries money with her has long been a subject of debate.

Axar.az reports citing Daily Mail. And now it has been revealed that the 91-year-old monarch does in fact carry cash with her on one day of week for a very important reason.

The royal is understood to only take money with her on Sundays, so that she is able to make a donation at Church.

According to The Sun, the Queen prefers to leave money on the collection plate at the end of the service.
It has been suggested that one of her butlers irons either a £5 or £10 note so that she is able to make the donation discreetly.

Royal experts have previously suggested that the monarch also carries a lipstick, compact mirror and mint lozenges in her handbag, along with reading glasses and a fountain pen.
The Queen is rarely seen without.

On Saturday, the monarch was seen with one of the designer's classic bags as she watched the racing at Ascot.

She appeared to be in high spirits as she watched Frankie Dettori race to victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

The Queen was dressed in a pale pink bouclé coat with a matching hat, teamed with black pumps.
