The friend of En.axar.az, famous photo – correspondent from Sweden Hady Kareka has done a film about ex-fighter of World War II.

Kareka told about it to En.axar.az:

“He fought in World War II. He was only 16 years old when he had to join the German Air Armed Forces 1945 (Luftwaffe?), his name is Carl Reich. I meet this man for a story and I met him on the island Gotland in Sweden.

He has moved to Sweden after the Second World War. His life has changed dramatically, he decided to start a new life and don´t want to talk about the war and what was going in the Third Reich because It hurts him. In 2017 I met Carl on Gotland, and our relationship became stronger, we met and he opened his heart to me, he told the story of his life in the city, located on the river Ruhr. Essen became virtually destroyed during the Second World War, and most of the remains disappeared during the 1950s reconstruction and modernization wave.We start talking about the war have shown him in my pictures that I have taken during the war in the Middle East.These pictures have raised his memory from the war. We have decided that me and Max Korostelev, (he works as a photographer from Belarus) that there will be films about our relationship.We have done the film, we had a wonderful time with this man.We´ve learned so much of this man. It will be the documentary film (main Freund)”.
