Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the fire in the Republican Drug Addiction Treatment Center in Khatai district of Baku city.

Axar.az informs that the statement of condolence was posted on the Kremlin website.

"I express my deep condolences on the tragedy in the Republican Drug Addiction Treatment Center in Khatai district of Baku city,” Putin said in his letter of condolences.

Putin also expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and expressed his support and wished the wounded to recover quickly.
