In the speech at the Vll congress of Azerbaijani journalists and on Facebook, a week ago, I shared some of our compatriots who live in foreign countries with respect to our national-moral values, respect for our state symbols, avoiding false, blackmail, non-ethical, and non-moral behavior against their opponents by giving positive examples of their country of residence I called. My goal was to make sure that such actions were not brought to honour, and those non-moral actors would win the hatred of the people, on the one hand, by those who were recently talked about in the political struggle squad and eliminate ever-expanding nonviolent struggle. I believe that everyone is the beginning of a blessing in the essence and morals of every human being and I want to convince that any perceived indignation caused by these or other alien influences, personal or political failures cannot be a cause for the Azerbaijanis to be an enemy of their state.
Axar.az informs, Ali Hasanov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for Public and Political Affairs wrote in his social network account.
Hasanov said that after the appeal was disseminated, he expected the internal opposition and foreign diaspora activists would join this polemic and to address the current unusual situation:
"However, I have to state with deep regret today that those" people" who carry out an ugly campaign against the Azerbaijani state, the government, the individual, including the President of the country and its assistant, not only have polemic culture, once again demonstrated that they are too far from moral standards ...
I declare with full responsibility that none of the persons I am responsible for has ever used the lexicon that could affect the honour and dignity of their opponents, national and citizenship, and has always condemned such acts. We have always been open to civilized polemics on any platform, with any person, political organization and force, and we are ready for it. Apparently, the concept of culture, morality, upbringing and honour, which is at a lower level than the plinth, is awkward to expect a miraculous transformation from the Vidadi Isgandar, Isa Sadigov, Elshad Abdullayev.
Once more I repeat, people speak not only with their spoken language but also with the language of their cultural and spiritual qualities. What is the essence of man is that of behaviour and lexicon?
At the last congress of journalists, once again, I am deliberately sending to the attention of those who are essentially low: Everyone who is waiting for his family's honour and respect they should not insult others!
Of course, as a part of the world, we live in virtual media, free internet and democracy. The political struggle is going on and will continue. We cannot escape from social networks, and it's obvious that we will not be able to stay away in the future. But we should not forget that we are Azerbaijanis, we have our traditions, morals and honour dimensions. The political struggle should also be carried out in accordance with our national, moral and ethical values in such a way that will not embarrass our society, our citizens.
Today, those who insist on their "political struggle" on insults and humiliation must understand that neither theirs nor the Azerbaijani society has any benefit. They should understand that different assumptions are made on behalf of other people who represent me and those who represent power, such as "traitors", "purposeful insults" and so on. By putting forward such expressions, they are the ones who do not honour anybody and are doing something that is not good at all. I would recommend them to abandon these harmful deeds.
Again, I would like to return to the idea that I have expressed in some of the distortions made at the congress of journalists: today those who commit immoral offenses against the Azerbaijani state and its symbols, government officials, and members of the community are the elements that have a special commitment to the relevant authorities in foreign countries. After crossing the borders of Azerbaijan, they pass their passports to certain circles and undertake special commitments and then push them to fight against their states. Of course, this idea cannot be said about all our fellow countrymen abroad. More than one hundred thousand Azerbaijanis live in Europe, 15-20 thousand of them are active and always defend the interests of our country. At present, there are five or ten people who have taken political asylum in Europe and engaged in anti-Azerbaijani activities in various fake ways. I address them: By ensuring that you are comfortable in your life by placing your country, creating a virtual version of the ISIS, fighting against your homeland is a loss of humanity ... I think that our society should not be silent, our diaspora, media representatives, and our social activists should not take a spectacular position."
