Azerbaijanis hold solidarity rally in Berlin

Azerbaijanis living in Germany held a solidarity rally outside the Azerbaijani Embassy in Berlin on April 11.

Axar.az informs, more than 200 Azerbaijanis took part in the rally, organized by the Azerbaijan House in Berlin, the Congress of European Azerbaijanis, the German-Azerbaijani Cultural Center and the German-Azerbaijani Society of Magdeburg.

Participants of the rally with Azerbaijani flags in their hands chanted slogans in support of Azerbaijan.

President of the Congress of European Azerbaijanis Sahil Gasimov underlined that he is proud of Azerbaijan’s development and the country’s growing reputation in the international arena.

Addressing the rally, First Vice President of the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress Elsever Mammadov called on Azerbaijanis all over the world for unity and solidarity.

“Unfortunately, some Azerbaijanis in Europe act against Azerbaijan’s statehood and national interests,” Mammadov said, emphasizing that they will not achieve their dirty goals.

The rally which lasted for 2 hours ended without any incidents.
