4th ‘Live pages of history’ Youth Festival held

The 4th Youth Festival 'Live pages of history' has been held in Azerbaijan's Ganja city by the country's Ministry of Youth and Sports jointly with the State Border Service and Ganja City Executive Power, the Ministry of Youth and Sports told local media May 23.

Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev, head of Ganja City Executive Power Elmar Veliyev, MPs and other officials participated in the opening of the event.

As many as 400 actors, students and athletes participated in the youth festival.

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on Feb.24, 2016 on additional measures related to awarding Ganja the title of the European Youth Capital 2016.

The festival was held in line with the action plan worked out by Azerbaijan's Youth and Sports Ministry for fulfilling the tasks arising from this decree.
