Taking into account the sanitary-epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan in connection with the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the total number of people infected with the virus and the dynamics of recovery of patients, it was decided to ease some restrictions under the special quarantine regime.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Based on the current sanitary-epidemiological situation, the number of active patients and the rate of infection, starting from 00:00 on May 18, 2020, in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, and Absheron region:
The system of leaving the place of residence with the permission of SMS, by registering on the portal "icaze.e-gov.az" on the basis of a service card or a certificate of employment is abolished;
Restrictions on access to boulevards, parks and recreation areas shall be lifted provided that they do not concentrate in groups of more than 10 people;
In restaurants, cafes, tea houses, as well as in all public catering establishments, on-site customer service is restored from 08:00 to 18:00 (except for the use of hookah equipment in public catering establishments).
The activity of museums and exhibition halls is restored;
People over the age of 65 are not allowed to leave their homes.
