Officers of the Lachin District Police Department carried out a successful operation to detect mines.

Axar.az reports according to the Barda regional group of the Interior Ministry's Press Service, Lachin District Police Department officers found a large number of mines planted by the enemy in the Uchtapa area of Khojavend region in connection with their service activities.

The employees of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan were immediately informed about it. During the inspection of the area, 33 anti-tank and anti-personnel mines were identified and appropriate measures were taken to ensure the safe detonation of these mines.
