The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, and other senior officials of the ministry participated in the opening ceremony of the 16th International Defense Industry Exhibition "IDEF - 23" held in Istanbul.

It was noted that the leadership of the Ministry got acquainted with the weapons, equipment and military equipment displayed at the stands of "ASELSAN", "ROKETSAN", "DEARSAN" and other companies at the exhibition.

Within the framework of the visit, Colonel-General Z. Hasanov also met with Turkiye's Minister of Technology Mehmed Fateh Kacır.

At the meeting, the prospects for the development of military-technical cooperation were discussed, as well as a detailed exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest, and mutual gifts were presented.
