Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that the creation of a new transport infrastructure in the liberated territories, including the opening of a new transport junction along the Middle Corridor, will play a decisive role in the Zangezur Corridor starting to operate.

Axar.az reports that Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about this at the informal meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) at the Turkish House in New York.

He noted the importance of taking joint effective measures in the direction of fully realizing the transport-transit potential of the region, increasing and diversifying the trade turnover, and simplifying and improving the transit procedures of the transport-communication corridors.
