The anti-terrorist measure carried out by Azerbaijan was a measure that showed that there was no other option left. Some of the issues agreed in the memorandum (November 10, 2020 statement - ed.) have not been fulfilled by Armenia.
Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this.
"First, the sovereignty of Azerbaijan in Zangezur Corridor and Karabakh was important. When this did not happen, our brothers rightly expressed their impatience. As Turkiye, we conveyed to Azerbaijan the need to take this step. It was a short measure that did not harm the civilian population and paved the way for Azerbaijan's legal sovereignty in the region. The rational explanations we put forward were effective in understanding the situation in favour of Azerbaijan", H. Fidan noted.
