Recently, the 114th session of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is being held, during which Armenia's periodic report is being reviewed.

Axar.az reports that on the first day of the review on December 2, Committee member Chung Chinsung was surprised by the numerous allegations regarding Azerbaijan in Armenia's report and asked for clarification on why so much space was allocated to Azerbaijan in the document, when not a single Azerbaijani lives in Armenia.

The head of the Armenian delegation, Deputy Foreign Minister of this country Vahan Kostanyan, having difficulty answering the question, confirmed that Azerbaijanis do not live in Armenia and tried to link what is written about Azerbaijan in the document with the security and political situation, which is not in line with the essence of the report.
