US President Donald Trump's sharing of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's speech at the meeting with participants of the III Shusha Global Media Forum in Khankendi and our head of state's gratitude for it will make a special contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that these words were noted by MP Vugar Bayramov.

He said that it is not a regular occurrence for a US president to share the views of another president:

“US presidents rarely share the speeches of other heads of state. This should also be characterized as global attention to the issues raised by Mr. Aliyev at the forum in Khankendi.

Such sharing regarding the forum held in Khankendi, which turned into a neglected city during the Armenian occupation and has entered a stage of reconstruction and development in the last 2 years, is also of geopolitical importance. The messages given in Khankendi are shared and discussed at a high level globally.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the US increased more than 3 times last year compared to 2022. Our trade turnover, which was $570 million in 2022, was $904 million in 2023, and $1 billion 752 million last year. The developing dynamics of cooperation between the states will create wider opportunities in the field of trade and mutual investment.”
