Besiktas appoint Sergen Yalcin as head coach

Besiktas have named Sergen Yalcin as their new head coach.

Axar.az informs the “Black Eagles” confirmed that Yalcin will take charge immediately and has already joined training.

This will be his second spell at the club. Yalcin previously managed Besiktas from January 2020 to December 2021, guiding them to both the Turkish Super League title and the Turkish Cup.

Besiktas parted ways with Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær after a disappointing UEFA Conference League campaign.
