Azerbaijan takes second place at World Wrestling Championship

The World Wrestling Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, has concluded.

Axar.az informs the Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling team won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, finishing second in the team standings with 89 points. Iran took first place with 180 points, while Uzbekistan ranked third with 72 points.

Notably, Ulvu Ghanizade (72 kg) claimed gold, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) won silver, and Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) along with Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) each earned bronze medals.
