The team competitions in table tennis at the III CIS Games, hosted by Azerbaijan, have concluded.

Axar.az reports that the finals for girls’ and boys’ teams were held at the Gabala Sports Complex.

Azerbaijan faced Russia in both categories.

Our national teams, both boys and girls, were defeated 0:2 and took home the silver medals of the tournament.

The Russian teams won the gold medals.

Individual competitions will also begin today.

A total of 1,624 athletes from 13 countries are participating in the III CIS Games. The opening ceremony was held on September 28, and the closing ceremony will take place on October 8 at the Ganja City Stadium.
