Azerbaijani referee to officiate Brann vs Utrecht

Azerbaijani FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has been appointed to officiate an upcoming UEFA Europa League match.

Axar.az reports, citing the official AFFA website, he will be the main referee for the group stage clash between Brann (Norway) and Utrecht (Netherlands).

He will be assisted by Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali, with Ingilab Mammadov as the fourth official. Hungarian referee Tomas Bagnar will serve as VAR, and Ferenc Karako will act as AVAR.

The match is scheduled for October 2 at Brann Stadium in Bergen.
