Azerbaijan moves to 2nd place at CIS Games

Azerbaijan has risen to second place in the medal standings at the 3rd CIS Games.

Axar.az reports that the country currently has 23 gold, 44 silver, and 67 bronze medals.

Russia leads the list with 89 gold, 40 silver, and 28 bronze medals, while Belarus ranks third with 20 gold, 23 silver, and 38 bronze.

So far, athletes from nine countries have won medals.

It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will conclude on October 8.
