John Cena retires after final WWE match

Famous American wrestler John Cena has ended his professional career.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that the 48-year-old athlete held his last match in the "World Wrestling Entertainment" (WWE) promotion on the night of December 14.

After losing to his opponent, Gunther, with a chokehold at the "WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLII" tournament held at the "Capital One Arena" in Washington, DC, USA, Cena took off his sneakers and placed them in the center of the ring, announcing the end of his career.

It should be noted that in addition to being a professional wrestler, Cena has also starred in films as an actor. He debuted in WWE in 2002. The wrestler, who has won 17 titles in the WWE promotion during his career, is the absolute record holder in this indicator.
