Norway wins Women’s Handball World Championship

The German and Norwegian national teams met in the final of the Women's Handball World Championship.

Axar.az reports that the Norwegian handball players, who won the match with a score of 23:20, won the title of world champion for the first time. Germany, on the other hand, missed the chance to repeat the success of 32 years ago.

In the match for third place, the French women's athletes were superior to their Dutch rivals - 33:31.

32 teams competed in the championship, which Germany co-hosted with the Netherlands.

It should be noted that the Women's Handball World Championship is held every two years. The next championship will be hosted by Hungary in 2027.
