Sergio Ramos may return to Ligue 1 with Paris

Former Real Madrid and France’s Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos could return to Ligue 1 and sign a contract with the capital’s Paris club.

Axar.az reports that this was written by Footmercato.

According to the source, Paris has shown interest in the well-known Spanish defender after his negotiations with Nice fell through. It is noted that Ramos himself prefers “more ambitious” clubs, as he is not entirely convinced by the project of the capital club.

The 39-year-old Ramos most recently played for Mexico’s Monterrey, leaving the team in early December of last year. He is also known for his time at Sevilla, the club where he came through as a youth player.

Ramos also holds the record for the most appearances for the Spanish national team.
