UEFA sanctions Bayern Munich

The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has imposed a ban on the German club Bayern Munich, ordering it to close its stands.

Axar.az reports that the official website of the Munich representative published information about this.

The punishment of the Bundesliga representative was imposed due to the use of pyrotechnics by fans during the home match against Sporting (Portugal) in the UEFA Champions League last December.

According to the decision, the South Stand of the Allianz Arena stadium, where Bayern plays its home games, will be closed to fans during the next match against Union (Belgium) in the Champions League.

In addition, the club was fined 50 thousand euros.
