Azerbaijan’s FIFA referee Hikmat Qafarli has received another appointment for the final stage of the European Championship.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation.

Our compatriot will serve as the main referee for the Ukraine – Lithuania match in Group B. He will be assisted by Peter Nurs from England and Chiara Perona from Italy. The match will take place on January 25 at 19:00 at the “Žalgiris Arena” in Kaunas, which has a capacity of 17,500 spectators.

It should be noted that H. Qafarli’s first appointment was on January 22 at the same arena for the Armenia – Ukraine match. In that game, he served as a timekeeper, but this time he will make his debut as the main referee in the final stage.
