Qarabag will learn its opponent for the UEFA Champions League playoff round today

Axar.az reports theta the draw kicks off at 15:00 Baku time in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Azerbaijani side finished 22nd in the league phase and will be in the unseeded pot, set to face one of the 11th- or 12th-ranked teams from the seeded pot. Potential opponents for Qarabag are France’s PSG and England’s Newcastle United.

The playoff ties are scheduled for February 17–18 and 24–25, with Qarabag hosting the first leg in Baku before traveling for the return match.

The winner of the Qarabag–PSG/Newcastle tie will go on to face either Barcelona, who finished fifth, or Chelsea, who placed sixth, in the Round of 16.
