Azerbaijan wins 5 medals at Tallinn Open Wrestling tournament

Azerbaijan shone at the “Tallinn Open” junior wrestling tournament in Estonia, with five of seven U-17 national team wrestlers reaching the podium under the guidance of head coach Mariya Stadnik and coach Solmaz Adilova.

Axar.az informs that Fatima Bayramova (53 kg) dominated her category, winning all seven matches to claim gold. Nəzrin Əhmədli (49 kg), Rena Nuriyeva (61 kg), and Simura Abdullayeva (69 kg) took silver, while Khadija Gurbanzade (49 kg) earned bronze.

Following the tournament, the team will participate in an international training camp in Tallinn until April 1, before returning to Baku for their final preparations ahead of the U-17 European Championship.
