Mircea Lucescu dies at the age of 80

Mircea Lucescu, the Romanian soccer great who was a serial trophy winner as a player and a coach, has died at the age of 80.

Axar.az reports that the news was shared by journalist Emanuel Rosu on social media platform X.

It should be noted that Lucescu had been hospitalized a few days earlier after losing consciousness before a training session of the Romanian national team.
