Russia and Ukraine set for water polo World Cup clash

Russia and Ukraine’s national water polo teams are scheduled to face each other in the second division of the World Cup.

Axar.az reports that the two sides are set to meet on April 13 in Malta in a match for 7th place.

In the classification semifinals, Russia were defeated by Romania (12–16), while Ukraine lost to Australia (15–21).

It is worth noting that the Russian national team is competing in the tournament under a neutral status.
