Ali Karimi’s properties seized by Iranian court ruling

Ali Karimi, the former captain of Iran’s national football team, has had several properties confiscated by court order.

Axar.az reports, citing Iran International, that two commercial units and four residential properties linked to Karimi were seized and transferred following a court ruling.

The report also notes that one of the confiscated properties belonged to the footballer’s son.

Karimi, who is currently living in exile, has been a vocal supporter of anti-government protests in Iran in recent years.
