Jorge Jesus to leave Al Nassr at season’s end

Al Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus has informed the club’s management that he will leave at the end of the current season.

Axar.az reports that the Portuguese coach has communicated his final decision to club officials, including Jose Semedo and Simao Coutinho, confirming that he will not continue into the next phase.

Sources indicate that Jesus is preparing to hold talks with representatives of Fenerbahce, potentially paving the way for a return to the club, which he previously managed during the 2022–2023 season, when he won the Turkish Cup.

In a related development, reports cited from ESPN suggest that Jesus, despite his satisfaction in Saudi Arabia, aspires to manage the Portugal national team in the future. He is reportedly targeting the role after the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The reports add that he is considered one of the leading candidates for the position, given his extensive coaching experience and strong track record.

The coming days are expected to be decisive in determining his next destination, amid growing anticipation over the future of Al Nassr’s technical staff.
