Neftchi Baku striker Vincent Aboubakar could be on his way back to Turkish football.

Axar.az informs that the Cameroonian forward, who currently plays for the Baku-based club, may continue his career at Turkish side Bursaspor.

Repоrts suggest that Bursaspor are closely monitoring the 33-year-old striker. Aboubakar’s contract with Neftchi is set to expire at the end of the season, and he could join the Turkish club as a free agent.

It is also noted that Neftchi’s management is unlikely to activate the one-year extension clause in his contract or make him a new official offer.

Aboubakar has played 18 official matches for Neftchi this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 1 assist.
