The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has announced its ruling on the appeal filed by Turan Tovuz.

Axar.az reports that, according to a statement released by the club, CAS upheld the decision issued by UEFA's Appeals Body on June 2.

Under the ruling delivered on June 15, Turan Tovuz, despite earning qualification on sporting merit and complying with all relevant regulations, will not participate in the 2026/27 season of the UEFA Conference League.

As a result of the decision, Neftchi PFK will represent Azerbaijan in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, while Zira FK will enter the competition in the first qualifying round.
