Azerbaijan's new FIFA referee Rauf Jabbarov has been invited to attend a training course organized by UEFA in Lisbon, Portugal.

Axar.az reports that Jabbarov has been invited to the course. The 28th international seminar will commence on January 27, 2019. Totally 49 new FIFA referees will participate in the course that will be organized with the support of the Portuguese Football Federation. The event will last for four days. The Azerbaijani referee has passed the English language test.

Notably, as one of the 3 international referees, Rauf Jabbarov replaced Omar Pashayev who has some health issues.
