Azerbaijani boxer Alfonso Dominguez played the final match at the Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France.

Axar.az reports that our representative, competing in the 92 kg weight category, met Lazizbek Mullojonov from Kazakhstan.

The meeting ended with a 5:0 victory of the Kazakh boxer. Thus, A. Dominguez had to settle for a silver medal.

Note that Paris-2024 will end on August 11. So far, judokas Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) and Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) have become Olympic champions. Taekwondo player Gashim Magomedov (58 kg) won a silver award. Our Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) won the bronze medal.
