Sabir Zeynalov wins bronze at Paris 2024 Paralympics

Azerbaijani para-taekwondo athlete Sabir Zeynalov has won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympics.

Axar.az reports that Zeynalov, competing in the 58 kg weight category of K44, faced Thai athlete Thanva Kaenxam in the match for third place.

Winning with a score of 12-3, Zeynalov claimed the third spot on the podium.

This marks Azerbaijan's first medal at the Paris Paralympics.

The competition will conclude on September 8.
