Max Verstappen, the 27-year-old Dutch pilot of the "Red Bull" team in Formula 1, has passed the legendary seven-time champion Michael Schumacher in terms of the number of leading days.

Axar.az reports that M. Verstappen, who has won three titles in a row since 2021 and took the lead in the individual score after his victory in the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix, has been the leader of the championship for 897 days.

In the early 2000s, when M. Schumacher played for the Italian "Ferrari" team, he maintained the leadership in Formula 1 for 896 days.
