Jake Paul beats boxing legend Mike Tyson

Jake Paul beat boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision to win an intergenerational heavyweight battle in Texas on Friday.

Axar.az reports that, citing Associated Press, The bout between the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul and the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion Tyson was streamed live on Netflix and played out in front of a sold-out crowd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The fight was a clear decision on the judges' scorecards, with one judge scoring it 80-72 in Paul's favor and the other two at 79-73.

It was the first sanctioned fight since 2005 for Tyson. Paul started fighting a little more than four years ago.

The fight was originally scheduled for July 20 but had to be postponed when Tyson was treated for a stomach ulcer after falling ill on a flight.
