Twitter Chief Executive Elon Musk revealed on Friday the social media platform will begin sharing ad revenue with content creators for ads that appear in their reply threads starting today.

Axar.az reports that however, Musk explained that only subscribers to Twitter Blue Verified will be eligible to access the latest feature.

"Starting today, Twitter will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads. To be eligible, the account must be a subscriber to Twitter Blue Verified," Musk said in a Twitter post. Musk's announcement revealing the platform's plans to share revenue with creators first came in early November shortly after Musk's acquisition of the company.
