A gas tank exploded near Khankendi, on the Khankendi-Asgaran road.

Axar.az reports that the number of people injured as a result of the explosion is dozens.

"Currently, we do not have accurate information about the number of dead and injured. Currently, there are dozens of injured - with various burns," said the medical staff working at the scene.

Gegam Stepanyan, who stated that he is the former "ombudsman" of the former so-called institution of Karabakh, claimed that hundreds of people died as a result of the explosion (? - ed.):

"It is impossible to determine the exact number of dead and wounded."

He stressed that air evacuation is needed to save people's lives.

It should be noted that the video of the explosion does not give the impression of "hundreds of dead".
