German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier went on a short visit to Qatar, but he had to wait for about half an hour on the plane for officials to meet him.

Axar.az reports that the German publication "Stern" published information about this.

"Frank-Walter Steinmeier looked a bit confused, even his wife had left him alone. All other passengers who landed in Doha had already disembarked. Only the president had to wait for the officials who were supposed to meet him at the exit of the plane. An honour guard and a limousine were waiting for the President of Germany to leave the plane, and the red carpet was already laid, but Steinmeier got off the plane only after 30 minutes," the report said.
