On February 21, a protest was held in Noumea, the capital of New Caledonia, in protest against the visit of the French Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin, and the Minister responsible for overseas territories, Marie Guevenoux.

Axar.az reports that the main goal of the action is directed against the changes that the French government wants to make in the local voting procedure to change the political balance in New Caledonia.

During the action, the flag of Azerbaijan was raised again.

It should be noted that before this the Azerbaijani flag was waved in the anti-French protests in New Caledonia.
