A symbolic memorial has been erected at the crash site of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) passenger plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Axar.az informs the information was shared by Kazakh media.

As a reminder, the AZAL passenger plane operating the Baku–Grozny route crashed near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25. Of the 67 people on board, 38 lost their lives and 29 survived. The crash was caused by physical and technical external interference in Russian airspace over Grozny.
