There is currently no need to consider imposing new sanctions against Russia.

Axar.az reports that U.S. President Donald Trump said this in an interview with Fox News.

‘Considering what happened today, I think there is no need to think about this now. You know, I think the meeting went very well,’ Trump added.

Nevertheless, the U.S. leader did not rule out that the issue of sanctions could be revisited in the future:

‘It may be that I will need to think about this in two or three weeks. But for now, there is no need to think about it.’

It should be noted that a meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin took place yesterday in Alaska.
