There must be real peace established, not just another pause between Russia’s occupations. The shooting on the front and in the sky must stop. Killings must end, and all prisoners and hostages must be released. Thousands of Ukrainians are in captivity, and all of them must be returned to their homeland. Pressure must be applied to Russia as long as the aggression continues.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on his social media account.

“In my phone conversation with President Trump, I stated that if the trilateral meeting does not take place or if Russia evades seriously ending the war, sanctions must be intensified. Long-term and reliable security guarantees must be ensured. All important issues related to Ukraine must be discussed with Ukraine’s participation. No decision on any subject, especially regarding territory, can be made without Ukraine’s involvement,” Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that Ukraine continues to cooperate with everyone around the world who seeks peace.
