U.S. President Donald Trump has supported the idea of providing security guarantees for Ukraine without NATO membership.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

She said that Trump supported the idea of giving Ukraine security guarantees similar to NATO’s Article 5, but without joining the Alliance.

Meloni emphasized that this issue was the most interesting news from the Anchorage meeting between Trump and Putin.
