The meetings between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska have given new momentum to efforts aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this while commenting on the Alaska summit between the U.S. and Russian presidents.

“We welcome the Alaska Summit and hope this new process will lay the foundation for lasting peace with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
