Erdogan seeks to advance Istanbul talks on Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Erdogan has expressed his desire to advance the Istanbul talks aimed at resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Axar.az reports that he made this statement during a meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, in New York.

"Our President stated that Turkiye is making every effort to ensure a just and lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine and expressed his desire to advance the Istanbul talks with a focus on results," the Turkish Presidential Office said in a statement.
