The Thai authorities have decided to temporarily suspend the operation of 641 schools in border areas due to rising tensions with Cambodia.
Axar.az reports that this was announced by the Thai Ministry of Education.
"In some areas, it is necessary to extend school quarantines or switch to online learning. The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring the situation and preparing an action plan. The safety of students and school staff is the top priority," the statement said.
